61st March on Selma Jubilee – Health Fair
Members of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. staffed the Health Fair booth from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Brothers and Sisters from across the region distributed health education materials provided by the American Cancer Society and ZERO Prostate Cancer. Attendees were also invited to complete an optional survey to help identify community health care interests and priorities.
Due to the booth’s location, engagement relied largely on foot traffic, requiring flexibility in outreach efforts. While there are opportunities for improvement in future years, overall participation and execution were satisfactory.

61st March of Selma – Bridge Crossing
The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. served as event marshals, ensuring participants and organizers remained within designated areas and that the bridge crossing proceeded in an orderly manner. Members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. supported the event by assisting at the medical emergency (ER) tent and managing the distribution and collection of marshal vests.
The bridge crossing was attended by approximately 5,000 participants, including VIP and non-VIP attendees. Combined participation from Brothers and Sisters 65+
